Rental Terms
The driver/renter must be at least 18 years of age and hold a valid driving licence.
For premium and speciality vehicles, the driver must be at least 24 years old and have held a valid driving licence for a minimum of one year.
If a reserved vehicle is not collected and the booking has not been cancelled at least 24 hours before the agreed rental start time, a charge equivalent to one day's rental will apply.
A credit check may be carried out before the rental period begins.
Smoking is not allowed in our vehicles. Pets are permitted by agreement. If you wish to travel with a pet, please contact us in advance.
Driving outside Sweden must be notified to and approved by us before the booking is made.
Payment
Full payment of the rental charge is required before or at the time the vehicle is collected.
Drivers/renters under the age of 24 are required to pay a security deposit of at least SEK 1,500.
The renter is responsible for all fines, charges and other costs incurred during the rental period as a result of parking violations or other traffic offences. Parking fines must be paid promptly by the renter. If payment is not made on time, an administration fee of SEK 300 will be charged for each offence, as well as for any payment reminders issued.
We accept payment by credit or debit card only. Invoicing may be available to business customers by prior agreement.
Damage protection
All vehicles are fully insured. The renter’s excess liability towards Xentus for the different types of insurance cover is as follows:

A damage charge will apply for each individual incident. For most vehicle models, you can choose between two levels of damage protection.
If an accident or damage occurs during the rental period, the driver must always complete a damage report, regardless of the level of damage protection selected. The completed report must be submitted to us no later than when the vehicle is returned.
Excess reduction lowers the renter's excess in the event of damage, in accordance with the applicable terms and conditions.
Zero excess cover removes the excess payable in most cases, in accordance with the applicable terms and conditions.
For drivers under the age of 24, an additional charge of SEK 2,000 applies for each damage incident, regardless of the level of damage protection selected.
For minibuses and vans, an additional damage charge of SEK 1,000 applies for each damage incident.
Excess reduction or zero excess cover does not release the renter from liability for damage caused by negligence or abnormal wear and tear. This includes, but is not limited to, damage caused by improper loading, stains or damage to the interior, damage to controls or fittings, and other similar damage. In such cases, the renter is responsible for all repair and restoration costs.
